Default I have a couple of questions

iv been looking at buying an sti for a little while now and i have settled on a 2002 jap spec sti.i have always loved the shape, they come with a ej207 and the 6 speed.

I have only been able to find one over east.

My questions are:
what are the differences between an aussy spec sti and a jap spec sti?.Iv heard they have slightly more power and a larger turbo, but what else ?

why are they hard to find?

and if i bought one from over east with mods such as exhaust, coilovers and intake, would it be fairly easy to get it passed pits and registered here in perth?

thank you for your time

Marti
