Most probably is the brant fucking up the fuel pump circuit. Had the same problem on Mel's car not long ago, ripped out the brant and replaced it with an Autowatch 555 upgrade system which allows you to use the original key without having to have another keyfob for the alarm.

Brant's fail constantly on the early GD series because they are a shit design. Later model versions tend to work a lot better, but if you talk to any towie who see's a lot of subaru's towed they'll tell you that most are for either Brant or GBox issues.

My 2c, rip the brant out, put in a reliable decent alarm system and you're set. Otherwise be prepared to pay $$$'s for Subaru to replace the brant system etc.

Final double check for you is to turn on the ignition and see if you can hear the fuel pump turn on?? if not... brant fucked! I replaced the fuel pump in mel's car as a just in case before replacing the alarm and it made no difference. Pump was fine, brant was fukt

Oh and on that note, even if you do the brant work around, which i know well from having to do it multiple times on cars when I was at Speedworks just so we could drive them to Subaru for the brant reset.... the fuel pump still won't prime because it's not to do with the code its the brant itself that is stopping the pump from priming.

I am finding the brant really annoying as well. Want to get it replaced with another decent alarm system. Do you guys know where is a good place to get it done?

Thats not going to be the reason your car doesnt start.

Really does sound like you don't know what you're looking at, I recommend you get the car towed to a workshop.
