I checked over it right after it first stalled and everything was plugged in correctly. Checked over everything thoroughly after it didnt start after replacing the turbo and everything was plugged in correctly.

It would be weird for something to unplug it self anyway... right?

The turbo died and then he drove it home. It started and he drove it 100m a couple days later and then it stalled. So we towed it and replaced the turbo.

Could the turbo dying caused any more mechanical problems or could it just be an electrical fault?

Was the turbo still in one piece?

Does it sound normal when cranking? (apart from the no start obviously!).

Yeah, sounds like it is just about to start. Eg. Sounds like it is getting compression etc.

You've probably answered this: Was the battery disconnected during the turbo swap?

Can you try a spare key (to eliminate the keys transponder chip)?

Battery was disconnected. Someone suggested the Brant went into hijack mode but i believe Yul did the proceedure to 'un-hijack' it and it still doesnt start.

Hmm, another key hey... Might just have to.

If it is the brant it will be in sleep mode not anti hijack
if so, to wake the system from sleep mode.
Disconnect the battery.
Turn the ignition to the on position.
Reconnect the battery.
pressing any button will now wake the system from sleep mode.

if it is in sleep mode you wont hear the fuel pump primeing up

it is also possible if the fuel pumps not working that the relays inside the brant module need the solder joints touched up
this is totaly unrelated to the work you have done but could be the problem and is easy to do and may fix it ?

We tested that dude. We just took the fuel line to the engine off and turned the key. Fuel kinda sprayed everywhere. Oops
