The miss is my fault for not closing the plug gaps down to .6-.7 when I installed the new set....Too much rushing to get them done last night along with an oil change whilst I was freezing my ass off outside....HA HA!

It didn't miss at 1.3 bar last night, but loading is different on road.

Will back that up by looking at the 1.2 bar chart. BTW when you are free, wanna put some Densos IK22s in on the house. Good chance to test the difference and post up a performance chart on the plugs

Yeah, you can see it start to dip on the 1.35 run, but on the 1.2 it's nearly flat at that same point.

Just going over my mapping to see if there's anything suss at 4800 rpm, like a sudden drop in timing or a step in the fueling. I don't think there is......I'll post the maps up in a few minutes.

You can also see where above 7K rpm the power drop off steeply......I deliberately have the fueling up there at a pretty rich 10.5 Afr on about 14 degrees of timing.

This is the latest copy of my maps that I have on this pc, dated 01/06/11.

I pulled 6 degrees of timing above 6800 rpm prior to putting it on the dyno (just me being overly cautious).

did you try using the auto-tune feature on the datalogit for the map? because motec, autronics and vipec are based on an actual volumetric efficiency calculation, i can actually calculate the number 90% accurate for each cell, but the apexi powerfc works on a different formula.

Also, we have just been appointed Apexi Excel dealer and you can try the Apexi software when it arrives in 2 weeks.

There's no auto tune in the Datalogit's Fc Edit software. There is Auto tune in Co-pilot for power Fc though & I have used that but it's rough at best.

Yes sir, co-pilot it is.

Just out of curiosity:
1) How close are the rough numbers compared to your actual?
2) How new is that O2 sensor on the AFR meter?

Why we are so into Vi-pec is because it has autotune which you can see here.
YouTube - ‪ViPEC Autotune Demonstrated by Lightspeed Innovations‬‏
The color of the cell changes and verifies itself by different colors of the cell.
It doesnt get better than this.

1. about .8 off on the rich side (afr-wise) which is safe but annoying when you have to shift 90% of the cells individually to get it spot on.

2. The sensor is nearly 1 year old but I do a free air calibration every 3 months (I use an LSU 4.2 sensor) & it is still well within spec.

Does the Vipec auto tune the ignition timing?
