I basicaly dailed in 4.5krpm, released clutch quickly but didnt let it just shoot out as i thought that would be worse for the clutch, smashed accelerator, car didnt move, released accelator, switched to second, mashed accelerator and still nothing. At which point i held accelerator firmly flat and just shifted into third, car took off- It certainly didnt feel like it was going to stall, or was bogged down.

You must have been bouncing off the rev limiter then?

Are you sure you took your foot off of the clutch in 'first' and 'second' gear?

Im like 100% positive the clutch was fully released, i don't know what happened but in that instance the car only moved in third. I just went onto Roe highway, where i was greeted at the lights by a Bright Pink/Pale red VE Commodore that looked like some supercar or something. Tried to launch again, dailed in 5k rpm and released the clutch quickly, got a slight chirp from the tyres and away i went. The commodore at this point was already miles way down the fwy >.<

As i originally stated, there was no clutchy smell, tyre smoke/marks the car basically just didnt move and the rev's raised. It was only when i shifted into third that the car took off.

This thread needs more youtube video evidence of dropping third. Preferably with number plates visible so we can be sure its really your car
