Hey guys,

so i had an issue where i would hit only 7 psi, not sure what fixed it but i replaced all the tubes from the air intake to the actual solenoid to the wastegate actuator to the turbo. and now i hit 14psi, but for some reason when i go WOT, i get a whistling noise, however i dont think its a boost leak? but it may be?

does anyone have any suggestions?

Due to being a uni student my funds arent there so the car is basically stock except for:

catless down pipe
catless 3" cat back exhaust
intake silencer removed

Not sure if its possible but there is a t piece on the intake manifold, has a tube that runs from under the manifold and comes back to the front of the manifold into this T piece, when removed, the car sounds like a muscle car, is it possible that somewhere on that line there is a fault? see the photo for a better shot of what piece i mean

or maybe my BPV is leaking somewhere? but its weird because its only at full boost and i dont hear it unless im between 4500 to 6000rpm and its only just happening

Did you replace the tube that has a small restrictor pill in it? I would suggest that you take a look at this thread if you have...

Whistle will most likely be leaks.

Recheck everything including hoses from turbo, tmic and bov.

the pill is still there, so not sure if its that,

im going to have to look at getting a replacement kit and replace all the hoses
