Na never had a check oil light, only ever came on when it stalled because of the bloody BOV.

If it was caused by a cracked oil pump, it would have had to happen recently as it was only serviced about 4.5-5k ago by subaru

To be honest their is alot of different possibilities so before anything, have it towed to a workshop to be inspected. We are just guessing. it could be somthing simple.

tony is correct, always good to get a good idea of what it could be before going to a workshop without a clue though

Have been speaking to David and STechnic, thankfully they are close to home. It is being dropped off on Monday to have a look at what is broken, and then to be fixed..... hopefully nothing is to badly broken
