It took me over a year to install them all. Bit of a nuisance of a job unless you have the ideal spanner but from memory Mao at EvoR does the full suite cheap.

Best place to get Group N mounts, or better? I need new mounts. Engine is moving around and making the p/s pump wheel touch the top radiator hose just before it goes into the top of the engine. 53mm radiator not helping.

Trimmed really well and probably can't get any more clearance, so mounts are next.

Evo-R will be the cheapest for Grp-N mounts.

Sounds like you might need to go solid mounts if it's that bad Rich??

Mounts are the original WRX ones, 15 years old. Would be pretty sloppy.

Looking at the beatrush ones Bram was on about too. Solid ones would be pretty rough I reckon? Sounds like the beatrush ones are tougher than the Group N's.

Had a look at it today after some hard driving, and the PS wheel has taken 1mm out of the top radiator hose.

I would suspect also my rotational idle has fucked them even more, as when active that shakes the motor pretty hard. I would imagine that solid mounts with rotational would be madness.

I think you could easily get away with harder than group N. Cusco should be about right once they break in. I hardly notice nvh from my group n's over all of the other noises.

$125 a side from CMA, usually can get them down a bit. Doesn't seem too bad.

Group N mounts are tougher than std but there is sfa difference in nvh.

Cusco mounts are harsh as shit.... the car will vibrate like a dog from the moment the started kicks.... don't use unless you have 550hp + atw and or track only car, they are horrible in a street car.

I run a cusco style engine and gearbox mount....solid mount crossmember and diff, rose jointed suspension arms and pillow ball strut top coilovers... so its just a competition of what rattles the most (Plus the straight cut dog box and nasty twin plate) bit uncivilised to take kids to school but meh yolo !

Rich sounds like you have a torn rh mount.... subaurs always kill the rh mount because of the gearbox fwd twist.

Thanks for the views on Cusco mounts. Since the group n's are so subtle I always wondered if I should have gone up a level. Sounds like I got the improved weight transfer control without the harshness.
