LOL @ the 430 Scud and 458 suggestions, slightly different price range!

Seriously, should upgrade to a GC8. Especially a red one.

Lol i wasnt saying that thats what he should buy.. But a 360 challenge would be in a similar price range, and i think would be much more fun to drive than the GTR...

I would suggest to go out and drive a GTR if you havent already before saying that its the perfect car. It may perform like a supercar but imo it just didnt have that driver imput or feedback..

I'd be asking on SAU about R35's rather than here.

The issue with LC and boxes breaking on the early models is pretty simple, just like the Evo TC-SST the manufacturer's stance is... There is no launch control from factory.

It just happens to be there should you want to void your warranty which you already are doing racing it.

The newer models have a soft launch control included, that doesn't need all the systems turning off. I forget if that is 09 or 10 that came out.

For how often you are going to stage and launch a road car on the road (i.e. never), it is not an issue. If you are doing it at the track, you are without warranty anyway so who cares.

You are also looking at buying a second hand car, who is to say a previous owner hasn't launched it, then you buy it and it lunches the gearbox... No warranty. Something to consider.

The series 3 with the power upgrade, launch control included yada yada is the one to get imo.

Theres a nice Lambo LP670 SV for sale on Car Sales, should suit nicely at just under $800k.

May be able to get them to knock 1-2k off the price seeing as the Aventador is out now.

Your Claytons friend right? Your parents paying for the car from what he said..

Anyway,

I would say no to the M3 only because the model is at its end of life cycle...

If your actually keen on an 09 GTR, PM me as I can probably get you a much better price on one of the traded in GTR's from Richard at Northside
