Just chatting to "the" GTR tech here (not my GTR tech, cos i don't own him legally - i'd hate a Carlos Tevez scenario), all ADM GTR's were delivered with LC1.. the LC2 was only introduced to other markets after some legal happenings in the US. Yes you can modify the LC and gearbox extensively as every setting is adjustable with (an updated version of) Nissan's Consult software and a GTR tech who knows what there doing.

Basically if your considering an MY09, you'd be best to get it downloaded and then you'll be able to see the entire history of the car.. it will show you the revs at every moment in its life, the temps from every sensor etc etc etc. The "black box" in these cars are insane.

Given that everything is recorded, what is the warranty like on the GTR's? There appears to be a lot of internet myths of $20k gearboxes just shattering, different launch control for different countries etc.

Is it possible to achieve the 0-100 times without LC? Are there many fragile gearboxes around, or is that just abusive Americans? Is the warranty really gone if you just use LC once?

Sorry for the 101 questions, just good to have someone who can factually answer them rather than internet myths.
