Joking aside it will probably be what I end up doing if I can't get someone to start tuning them here.
You can remote desktop any ECU that's tuned via laptop/PC - Just use Team Viewer or similar remote desktop software over the 'net.

Mike Ward is able to tune Syvecs locally - won't be cheap though.

Aaaazzzian or not it was Gordo's first time at the drags that night and it was the first time he had ever attempted to launch his car properly. He didn't know what rpm's to use or clutch technique or even what VDC setting to use. I gave him a quick crash course while we were waiting in line. We all know it's not the place to learn launching, he did ok in that regard, yes his car should have gone quicker. Who knows maybe the engine was already on its way out.

I think that sums up why people didnt like his "advice". Simply no background or knowledge to back it up.

I'm an IT nerd for a living I know you can do with all that but it wasn't really my point.

An a serious note Rossco have you had a proper look at the Syvecs software?

If not you should. You'll realise why I think it's head and shoulders above anything else on the market.

I'm also aware that I'm beginning to sound like a broken record with saying it and don't want to bore everyone to death with it. But if anyone is thinking of a seriously kick ass ECU you must not overlook these.

Would like to know who this Mike Ward is and what his experience with the Syvecs is.

I personally would love to be able to tune my own car, but not keen on wiping out my license trying to find a private runway for that 4th gear tune/logging
I have seen what Graham is doing on the web and first hand here in Perth
Kramers 08 has been tuned by him and I find it faultless there last few years

I dont know of Eric in the USA mate.

I've had a look at their suite -

Mike Ward: Syvecs & 1300hp R35 GTR Race cars.......

He was saying they are very similar to Pectel (Cosworth) ECU's.

He's a professional tuner, who is flown all over the world to tune for various race teams in all forms of motorsport.

I'll pm you his number - he can be hard to get hold of due to race scheduling but he is your man.

This just reminds me of how Gordon said his car was faultless and how the tune was faultless...then boom

Deja vu.

I've read good things about Graham's tuning in the USA and also of how some of his 400WHP tuned stock engine cars and 25psi stockers are failing after 10-20,000 kms. But that's seems to be a usual thing in the USA, when you tune an STI you have to pop the oem engine before getting any kind of street cred.

As a sidenote - I will never trust my car to a guy who is named "Graham Gaylord" !

Very different situation. Gordon was the only one saying his tune was faultless, the masses with experience tried to tell him otherwise.

The masses with experience got it right.

I dont mean any offense to Seagull, but isnt it a little bit of a conflict of interest you promoting email tunes? Dont you build engines? Good for buisness no?
non taken

I know of Graham at Boosted Performance and will use him from now on. I follow his posts on the USA site and I have a good mate that uses him to tune his two subarus.

You can use who you like its no concern to me.
