That makes no sense. Walking off to eat is what a lunch break is. So im not sure what youre complaining about.
If its cause you cant get all your work done and have a lunch break as well, maybe youre not priortising yourself well enough so have a look at that instead.
But if youre afraid of people seeing you as lazy cause youre going off to eat lunch but can manage to do all your jobs, then you just have insecurity issues. If anyone says anything pretty much go 'piss off, im eating'

If you are entitled to a lunch break, who's to say something. You don't look lazy, you are taking a break after working a certain amount of hours which is required, and if someone says anything, tell them to fuck off!

My boss harasses me on my lunch break, sits there constantly telling me to eat faster and hurry up, get back to work etc, (although I am never in there longer than I am supposed to be) he does it for shits and giggles.

A few comments and sny remarks about his choice of clothing outside work (which includes Ali-G type trackies and jumper) - He is Italian :P

I am left in peace try that.

He works in Parts at a dealer....The phones ring from 8 til 5 pretty much non-stop.

It's not a case of being slow or prioritizing your work load or being paranoid...It's a case of having the balls to walk away from the phone room for a 1/2 hour with phones ringing....It's misplaced loyalty if anything.

We were 2 people down today... I didn't have a break all day either....Some times you have to just roll with it.....

Most days I take 20 mins or so, unless I need to go off site for some reason (shops or whatever) where I'll use the full 1/2 hour.

Don't be scared to remind management that you're entitled to breaks every 4 hours by law.

You're still prioritising serving customers before a lunch break, where you're only hurting yourself for the rest of the day because of lack of food or fatigue. What I'm saying is, if you take a break, you'll be able to serve customers better in the afternoon. If the phones go all day non-stop then they're all still going to be there when you get back.
Don't think by not taking a break makes you look better, if you don't them they expect you to not take it all the time.

Its upto you, I don't know your field of work. But its a pretty simple solution, if you want your lunch, just walk out for it.

I purposly go buy my lunch because i know if i dont i wouldnt stop all day. Its amazing when your busy how quickly 10hrs pass with no food.

If i do sit down at a desk or whatever and the boss comes annoying me about work shit, i make it quite clear that ill be interested once my food is consumed and im not fucking hungry anymore :-) he got the idea 2nd time round. Lol
