Been awhile since I posted but action is underway, old engine out and work commenced on the new engine so it's ready for transplant, motor would have been ready but hit a snag with the BBK twinscroll turbo, the nipple on the wastegate diaphram was hitting the oil feed hose so wasted hours trying to fix this issue :-

Here are some pic's, note the blue manifold phenolic spacer!!

Naked Engine Bay

Old donk, this will also be for sale, was rebuilt about 30,000km's ago and will include twinscroll set-up, including the VF36!!

Phenolic Spacer - Keeps heat out of the manifold

Just to be clear, the old motor's manifold has been put on my new motor, however I do have a complete V6 Sti manifold that will be included with the motor.

I will also include the 6 speed flywheel and clutch (these are still on the motor), the clutch was brand new when replaced about 3000 km's ago!

I will get some spec's up soon on the old, but still very good motor, will probably start a for sale thread.

I have found the receipt for the old rebuilt motor, RMS charged the previous owner over $9K, was a complete rebuild, new CP Pistons, crank, Eagle Rods etc...

cheers
