hi rossco
is the safxa recommended on a stock diff? i was originally just going to use syntrax but since been thinking about the safxa since i remembered you had used it. looked at it at the shops and the bottle did not have the weight rating ect cheers

Yup. Cheapest hypoid oil.
The Viscous LSD in the gc8 WRX is a sealed unit. No amount of special oil will improve its performance. As for GDA WRX... Suretracs rely on a specific weight of oil to operate properly. Going thinner or thicker usually degrades performance.

thanks for the reply guys, so whilst on topic, is it worth putting syntrax gearbox oil in a stock gc8 box? or is multitrax good enough? gearbox has done 200 clicks with no problems...
will get out of your thread now roscco, btw how is your car going?
