I would consider putting the car on patches or gum, smoking like that!

The only stage I saw you was here at Healthway on Sunday.

Cool! Finally some photos that look like we're actually having a go. Pity it was about the slowest way through that corner (aside from Andy's way this is)...

No the XY GT also took a slow line, he had a bit of an over steer and was on both sides of the track before bellowing down the road. I'm also a Holden man, but the GT did sound good.

Yeah - a crazy car to go rallying in, I'd imagine it'd be quite a handful in the tight stuff.

Good to see you guys got it running long enough to have a play on the gravel. My first outing in our GC8 in the 05 Forest resulted in a jammed gearbox just 2km into SS3 on the first day.

Your stages times on Sunday did look pretty good and I gave you a good mention here: http://www.rallyaction.com.au/motorsport.html (scroll down to find articles).
The car will be quick once you iron out a few more bugs.

Karl

Cheers Karl, appreciated the help out in the service park...

The car is on its way back to Perth tomorrow, can't wait to get cracking on it and get it sorted for Experts.

The list is basically, turbo, ecu, and hope that there's been no engine damage. Oh and it has a flat tyre.

Well, flat tyre fixed. New turbo core fitted. Booked in to Maximum's for a Autronic and tune tomorrow.

Unfortunately it looks like it wasn't the turbo, and we've done some engine damage with the detonation. There is oil mist pissing out of the cam cover breather pipe when the engine idling.

So - anyone got any suggestions as to where we can find a new short (?) motor at a reasonable price?
