aint no easy fix when it comes to the brant. iv replaced and or removed the brant on a lot of cars, its cheaper to remove. you still retain the factory immobilizer and central locking

Should have done it when the engine was out of the car. Now your going to need to disconnect the turbo lines. Lift the turbo up and replace the hose. Its a little fiddly

You can drive it but the more you drive it the more grease it will spit onto the exhaust.the heat will make it alot harder to . clean up and it will dry the cv joint out and cause more damage

diff and trans oil is only red if its an auto or using red line shock proof.diff and manual trans oil could be a golden color

As above need these 2 items. Starter harness runs from tje inside to the starter and windscreen washer motor. Has the glow relay and timer on it.just seeing if anyone has this stuff laying around

Have used both. Both work well. Castrol pre mix is 8 dollars a can. Genuine subaru is roughly 69 dollars for 5l. Personally id use the genuine but the pre mix is fine also.

Make sure you have a good 12v and ground to the ecu. Have seen a few cut out. Iv just wired a relay in and has solved the problem

could also be a fuel pump controller if you have a 2004+ car

If the ac compressor isn't clutching in and out then its Proberbly low on gas. Unless you can see an oily residue around any of the lines then you will need to get it re gassed with a die and check...

Early wrx have the bottom tensioner. Anything after 2001(bug eye )has the tensioner with the idler attached. Either they have sent you the wrong kit or you have a 98 wrx with a 2001+ short block...
