Yeah, I did think that, but just didn't have the time to organize inspections, flying over there, transport etc, so when something in my budget popped up here I jumped. I did test drive a few, but they were a little too expensive.

but yeah, they pop up, but are quite rare in Perth for a decent one.

Steer clear of this one; paint is shit, rims have been raped by kurbs and the car is under finance that was only taken out about 4 months ago.

Yeah I want an 01-02 but I'll go up to 04, the best 2 I have seen have been joes and sethors but like I said I'm heading to Europe and dont want to buy till I get back. There's a silver 02 with a twin scroll conversion which Looks good apart from a car park dent, what's Wrong with the td06 sti ?

03 and 04 STI are really nice, nothing wrong with that, ex forum owners, pretty decent price for the mods. Was a suggestion to look at after....the one to keep clear of is the white bug. Sorry if I was unclear. gl with the search
