Thanks for all your advice guys. I'm going to stick with the mods I have for the moment as the bank account is very sad. Just took the car out for a 30min cruise to get a feel of what I'm up for. Turning the car on I get a shudder and then it seems to act normal. Car feels lumpy on the low revs but when warmed up it gets a little better. Response isn't to bad. Occasional back fire which is a little strange. On full boost the car seems great, lots of power (well for me anyway).

So far the problems I'm noticing are:
- shudder on start/ cold take off
- backfire
- fuel seems to dissapear when not on boost

I'm not complaining just sharing my thoughts on how i feel my car is driving at the moment. Would I take the mods i've done back? NO

Are they problems or just different than before. I suggest you always let the care warm up for a few minutes when doing a cold start. A bit of crack and pop on the over runs is normal but backfiring is a different story all together. Drive it for a few days and see how it responds to the mods and if there are still "issues" then take it back and discuss them with ASG.

I havnt noticed those issues previous to the mods. Backfire isn't to bad I guess it's more of a pop as such haha. I'll drive it over the weekend and show you on Sunday then take it from there.

at cold start - the cylinders are not up to temperature yet - it wont burn all the fuel thats going in there atm. its why it feels shit. I bet it feels very sluggish when u slam the foot to the floor while driving normally.

Different wastegate actuator on the new turbo is 1 bar(stronger spring). Which means the boost controller is going to be set up completely differently than when it was running the TD04 with a 6-7psi spring.

Weak spring = higher wastegate solenoid duty cycle to hold boost
stronger spring = lower w/g solenoid duty to hold boost
