New years eve update!

I've stripped the inlet manifold & repainted it in VHT wrinkle red.

I think it looks awesome!

It's worth noting that once I had applied 3 coats to the manifold, I heated it from the inside out by running hot air (hair dryer on it's hottest setting) through the throttle body mount for 30 minutes (manifold got to 95 degrees c) with the manifold stood off the ground on 4 dowels, this tightens up the wrinkles a lot & speeds the curing process.....It will still take 5 days to fully cure!

Looks the goods Ross! I've been contemplating what to do with my manifold to spruce it up a bit, and this looks like it might be a decent direction to be heading.

New years day update:
I spent a few hours cleaning & tidying up the engine bay.....Pics to follow (it was too dark by the time I'd finished).

I still need to organize myself a catch can & decide where to mount it......As well a fit my home made intercooler auto spray timer & sensor.
