If you don't plan on modding it a lot or doing alot of track days then go the 12, but if you do want to then get the STi... But a standard wrx is still more than capable of having some fun, they do...

Can you remember exactly what the computers did steve? I have one out of Steve's car and think that it will go in the old boys wagon eventually but it would be nice to know what boost etc it changed....

The 99/00 sti has color code as standard I think, and Gomer are you referring to the 22b having brembo's or the wrx? The 22b had brake upgrades over std but I couldn't say what they are..

I assume it will be your rear brakes.. but you can maybe get some rear line locker of someone and slap them on, go for a drive and if the problem is gone then that would def be your problem..
